Review on 🎥 Brushed Metal Flip MinoHD Video Camera, 2nd Generation - 8 GB, 2 Hours (Discontinued by Manufacturer) by Issac Burnett

This product had so many negative reviews including the most recent ones that I almost bought it. Most seemed to mention the issue with the USB armrest not fitting their computer - when I bought it there was no message to fix the "USB armrest issue" but I had five, to try this (HP laptop, netbook and desktop, and MSI laptop and netbook) I figured it would probably work with at least ONE of them. In fact it works with ALL, albeit with the screen down, which I find a bit idiotic, although I can see why. However, since I mainly use it with a laptop on a stand - and with the lack of USB ports! - It's not really convenient to plug it into the laptop itself, so I use a portable USB hub that allows me to mount it on a table (coffee table, knees, whatever) with the screen facing up (although you can then use the have to protect the lens side from it). scratches by placing it in the soft little pouch that comes with the kit). I also have a Kodak Zx1 and a Zi8 and out of the three I prefer these. The picture and sound quality is good, and the device is MUCH smaller than the other two, making it easier to fit in a small pocket, purse, etc. The downside is that you can't take direct photos with it, which is you can work with the other two, but the software allows you to "grab" as many frames as you want from anywhere in the video (which you can only do for a moment) which is an AMAZING feature; You can capture images that you would never get through photography. True, it's not a very big screen. but then it's a pretty small unit. In general, it is very suitable for my purposes. I'm not often "thrilled" with a product, but so far I'm happy with this one!
