They were tightly woven. Nice but too tight to pull.
Nice design and good quality, thick fabric but very thick and narrow. Even more than the usual shoe size did not fit. Was hoping for a looser sock to accommodate a growing boy but could barely get them up to midfoot. I had to send them back. So disappointed.
