The green is definitely a true olive green and not the teal listed but luckily we have a lot of greens in our house so it works. The size is great and the large zip opening makes it very easy to stuff our choice of wool batting. The reviews that claim their dog gnawed on it or quickly tore it up just have to be very destructive dogs or dogs that have been left in a cage for hours. Our 2 Border Collie/Aussie mix loved the bed (the 2nd one is on the way. There was a shipping error but the company fixed it very quickly) as did our 6 cats. So far, there is no indication that it can be easily damaged at all. It's certainly not chewing protection, but the dog bed isn't really protected.
