Review on πŸ“± SP Connect Suction Mount: The Perfect Car Windshield Smartphone Mount for SP Connect Phone Case by Sherman Lancaster

Revainrating 1 out of 5

The first didn't stick to the ultra clear glass, the second didn't, the third didn't

LAST UPDATE: One out of three worked. We have two 2016 Subaru Outbacks and wanted to use the suction cup mount on the small front door window. So the phone doesn't block the air vents, it sits outside the windshield, and we didn't have to tape anything to the interior of the car. All in all very clean and elegant, if that's possible. This is our third attempt as the first one broke and the second worked. Oddly enough, all three suction cups we received have strange markings on the inside, like someone taped a Brillo on them during manufacture. I've included a photo of the finish for that final review. First review: Conceptually, that would be awesome. But it didn't last more than 3 hours despite clean glass and careful maintenance of the suction cup. I'll swap it out for a new one and see what happens. I did NOT experience a too tight connection between the phone and the device itself, everything worked better than I had hoped except for the broken suction cup. Overall, I really wanted this to work, but trying a fourth time is too much. Questions.
