Extreme cold test

I bought a pair for my three children last year. We live in the arctic tundra of Alaska. Serious. I was scared but the boots were so cheap I figured it wouldn't hurt to take a chance as a spare pair. My kids loved the colors and styles so much that they only wore these boots during the snowy months (roughly October through March). The boots held up well and the kids never complained about the cold. My oldest daughter said that if she was outside in -30 or -40*F for more than an hour her feet got cold, but otherwise they were comfortable and stayed warm in extreme temperatures. I can't comment on how well they stand up to hours of play in the snow, but I highly recommend them for cold weather, and if they're ok here in cold weather, they're ok in cold weather almost anywhere.
