The hat makes a high pitched noise when turned on. Took months of messaging the company to confirm that this was not a defect but the case with all of this company's products and to then to get a refund. Unfortunately I had to pay to ship the hat back myself, so even after the refund I ended up losing money due to the shipping I paid myself. At least they did eventually refund me my original purchase amount.I guess if you are going to be somewhere loud maybe the noise the hat makes wouldn't be an issue.
