After reading many reviews and looking at the size chart I ordered one size down as they are unisex. For a woman with an athletic build and hips, it is quite suitable. Not only are there front pockets, there are zipped side pockets, and because of the extra material, they're a little tighter on the hips than we'd like. Overall very comfortable and cute.
