Scratched and totally failed

It worked fine the first 2 times but now it doesn't freeze our ice cream at all even when using cream and keeping the keg in the freezer for 3 days. Last week I noticed the inside was scratched after scooping the ice cream we made the first two times. Is it metallic paint? what did we eat So awful and disappointing what a waste of money!
