When our first set broke after a year we looked for a replacement and were surprised at the prices. Decided to buy it again with an extended warranty to ensure we were up to the task. Good thing it was only 4 months just in case. Over $200 in less than 2 years. And the guarantee process is long. We're now the proud owners of a $15 competitor that works just as well. Even if I buy a new set every year. I save $170. I can't tell the difference between a $100 pair and a $15 pair.
