Much stronger than I expected based on the reviews. I am very happy with my purchase. I'm a graduate student and do a lot of typing at home, but recently had wrist surgery and needed extra support. This product allows me to move from my desk to my sofa with the same wrist brace. I use the product on my existing desk for better support as my laptop causes it to flex when there is no other support underneath. As other reviewers have pointed out, this is not regulated. It comes with legs that you want to tilt, but I don't use those because they don't work well with my lap table. I also didn't like the mouse pad that came with it, which can be attached or not, so I bought another mouse that I liked better.
