This cape would no doubt delight a small child, but I can't understand why there isn't an intermediate length for capes. You can order a cape in a 24 inch length, and then your only other option is to go straight to a 48" length which is suitable for an adult - too long and possibly a tripping hazard for a 9 year old. Surely these manufacturers can go that extra mile and have a 36" length, which would have been the perfect length.
