Review on ๐Ÿ“บ No-Stud Low-Profile Tilting TV Wall Mount for 32-80 inch TVs up to 200 lbs - Amazon Basics by Jennifer Wible

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Cheap and quite intuitive design. Don't be afraid to buy this and install it yourself!

This review will not be too detailed. This is mainly to help people understand why they should buy it and some instructions. I bought it mainly because it was cheaper than everyone else at the time and I liked its design. And everything was as advertised! Installation was easy (disclaimer - I love building stuff). The instructions are easier to understand than other instructions I've read (although I still re-read the same instructions a few times to be sure). Unfortunately, if you have never installed anything like this, you will be afraid that your good TV will fall over. But if you do the part where the anchor is set correctly, IT WILL WORK. I emphasize this to inspire confidence in others. However, have I made more holes than necessary? Yes. Have I kept checking to see if the TV has moved a little over the course of a day, week, month, and several months? Yes. Long story short, I really think this type of TV mount should be used more - I have a 55" set and I know most people get this size when they buy a big TV. I see everyone uses different types of bolt anchors and installation is a lot more difficult if you don't have a bolt finder. If you have drywall and are worried the studs won't land in the right place to center the TV, buy this. Tools Required: Flat/Phillips screwdriver Level (ruler with a bubble in the middle). also knock on the wall - see youtube) Cheap drill pencil for marking. Time needed: 20-45 minutes. What to look out for: Sometimes your drywall isn't quite level. This can result in the wall mount not fitting "flat" against the wall. Don't worry, the wall mount will work even if it's not flush with the wall. Just make sure you install everything according to the instructions. It's been a year and my 55" TV hasn't moved an inch!
