I was looking forward to this beard straightener and did a lot of research before buying it. Unfortunately, it didn't work on my beard even at the highest temperature (450). Sure, it smoothes and "shapes" them a bit, but it leaves a lot of shaggy hair and curls that I was hoping this would take care of. I believe this comb is made for very long beards as the depth of the bristles requires your hair to go very deep into the comb to make contact with the heating elements. So if you have a flat, flat, medium length beard, I don't recommend it. My beard grew quite long and thick, probably around 3+ inches, and the result was nothing special and not worth the money spent. I liked the overall look and quality of the device, but it needs to be smaller (with shorter bristles) to ensure better surface contact with the hair.
