Comfortable and warm. I can't wear things that pinch my ankles or anything like tight socks and the opening for that looks like tight socks. At the end of the day, when my legs were swollen, they cut off circulation and left deep imprints on my ankles. Otherwise they were comfortable. If you have blood flow, notice that it will be compressed. I don't like one size fits all from 6 to 8. That makes them really big for those of us who wear a size 6 (or smaller). Imagine a Bigfoot clown, but not so over the top.
