As I said in the title, amazing floor lamps with the ability to duplicate intelligent light with different colors. Very easy to assemble. I still have a lot of functions to get used to, but if you connect it to Alexa or Google Home you have the option to scream the color you want, it can also perform basic functions like a light bulb. , cloudy daylight, ice blue, warm white, etc. etc. Or use the app. The white/orange color in one of my paintings is glow, not "daylight or white". Daylight and very white white white color. I have 2 black floor lamps, 1 mini hallway light, 1 bedroom light, 1 kitchen cabinet light and a 14ft 6ft LED strip for the back of my TV and they work great. (Still the same brand. I will buy more). Coming from LIFX, I can say right from the start: much more accurate, easy to connect, no set-up problems, stable, Bluetooth and WiFi work great. I had no problems for almost a month. I'm in the process of converting all my lights to Govee. The app has a ton of features, albeit almost overwhelming, but you'll eventually get used to them. If I were you, I would use DY mode after becoming familiar with the basic color management commands and how to use it. You can actually use DY to get the effect you want when you have multi-strip lighting, e.g. An LED strip on the back of your TV, for example, or one of the floor lamps or strips that use a few different color points and basically store them. There's a lot to do, so I'd recommend just playing around with it. They have modes like breathing, rainbow or chasing effects. Set the speed to zero so they don't pulse. Every time you change a color, just click apply so you can see how it looks and slowly move from there and save. I mainly use the breathing effect to make it look like someone is breathing or colors are holding still. They also have a finger drawing mode. Keep in mind that this only applies to items with multiple swatches, which you cannot swap out for a single bulb. If you're using DY and looking for things like pulsing, breathing, chasing, or anything that sounds like flickering motion, just change the speed setting and save. Then all you have to do is press a button to get started. While you can shout to change all lights to a specific color, some combinations of lights need to be entered manually as they behave differently. For example, the orange color of the floor lamp and the Smart LED PRO Strip from the same company all change to orange, but I have to manually change the rear LED strip to orange, for some reason it tries to change to a warm color, mostly white , but I don't want to talk about some other product, just give an example of what you can expect if you have different combinations from the same company. I'm pretty sure this is a firmware update fix in the future considering it could be orange. Only found a problem with this color. Nothing more. The app has many features as at the moment you cannot change the speed of the built in different color combinations/modes like holiday, lights, rain etc. but you can create your own combination as I said before and save. allowing you to change the speed. Hopefully in the future you can change the speed of the built in modes they have. (They move fast). It also has a very interesting brightness mode: one of these is called relative brightness, which is always 50%, and a separate dialer for the brightness itself. You can increase the brightness even further, or leave it at 50% relative brightness and there's a glowing kind of Turn the brightness down while keeping the brightness level at 100, or just crank both up to 100. This applies to the floor lamp and LED strip version and maybe the strips as they also have separate light points. I am very happy with this item. Finally, get another one for another corner of the hideout. I love that it illuminates the wall because it's perfect for anyone who has an LED backlit TV as it doesn't face inwards into the room. I use 1000 Down, 1000 Up Fiber and I have a mesh system over my house. User experience may vary, but if you're on a grid system, have a fairly stable connection, or are just replacing your previous smart lights, they should work just as well, if not better. They appear to have the same settings as many other smart lights, such as E.g.: setting a timer for power off, effects, music modes, etc. etc. When using Google Home with it, you can say the command: Turn off all lights or by name: in X minutes without an app. EDIT: 11/22/2021: They updated the app to allow 'grouping'. Let's say you have multiple floor lamps or multiple groups of items, like floor lamps/bars etc. You can group them so that they turn on at the same time. Now you can mark rooms. (living room, hallway, etc.) and add a light there that you can click on when you click on it. (The voice is still ahead. Call the room yourself) but now it has manual controls. Just a tip if you get more than one floor lamp if you name them both a floor lamp they both change to the color of your choice and obey the command because they are named the same. If you want individual control, you have to use the app or just go to it separately. For example, I named my lamp Alpha 1 and Alpha 2. Using Lamp 1 or Lamp 2 (common name) will mess up the voice commands, but it's an easy way to change one lamp to one color and the second to another. (with voice). If both are in the same room, you can turn them all off by saying: - Turn off the light in the living room. Instead of being called by name. The main difference between this model and the more expensive $40-30 version of the Lyre is the looks, as well as extra brightness at 500W (black model at 1000W. White model at 1500W), some modes. The model and the brightness on it are suitable for my use. Just keep in mind that they're aimed at the wall, not you, so the brightness is reduced a bit, but not by much. You can always point it at yourself, but it looks better like a sconce than pointed at you. It has a very cozy look. Another option is to move it slightly away from the wall so it expands. Easily learn the basics of the app and how to use the DIY features, or even save your favorite settings. WARNING. If you invoke a voice command, say say you want to change the color to another from your favorite store, your brightness settings will go back to normal. Relative brightness is 50 and brightness is 100. It looks like using the Google Home voice command will reset the brightness settings to default, meaning you can go back to the app and change them or just save your favorite themes have to. If you change them with the app, they'll remember, but of course voice control is the main driving force here.
