Linen looks real but better. It is not crumpled, but the color is a pure creamy beige, with light cross-hatching imitating a linen weave. No glittery shine. I love that it's not tan/brown so it goes well with white/ivory/beige fabrics and accessories. The hem is very thin and not fussy. The tablecloth even has its own storage bag! The real test is how it handles stains/washing and drying. This is usually when most tissues fail. UPDATE: This tablecloth has been washed several times in hot water and tumble dried. NO shrinkage, wrinkling or deformation of shape or size. Resistant to stains too - very glad it passed the wash test!
