Review on Enhance Your Virtual Reality Experience with Homido V2 VR Headset for iPhone and Android by Wesley Sharp

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Decent set of virtual reality glasses. A little overpriced and overpriced

Received these today and have been testing them all day. Good points so far. I think they were a bit overpriced compared to what I actually got. compatible with this item (tested personally on iPhone 6s, 7s and Samsung S8) - Straps are well made - Lenses appear to be well constructed from plastic - Convenient enough access holes on either side for plugging in headphones or power. Disadvantages: - Glasses are quite heavy; Being plastic these goggles are quite heavy in the front and you have to compensate by tightening the strap IMO or lying on your back so they rest on your face. There is not enough room in the phone compartment for anything other than a phone or magnet. don't keep the door closed. You'll need to remove your phone case or screen protector every time you want to boot up your phone for the door magnet to work properly - the action button doesn't work. Pretty impractical as you can't use the gyro cursor (frustrating) - although the padding seems adequate; the upholstery has a hard seam on the inner and outer edges, which is quite uncomfortable when looking at it for a long time

Pros
  • Adjustable pupil distance and object distance: suitable for different groups of people. Adjust the pupil distance by rotating the gear on the left side of the 3D VR GLASSES and adjust the object distance by rotating the gear on the top of the VR Glasses to get a better movie experience.
Cons
  • Socket required
