I bought this as a replacement because the ID window started peeling off my old version of this wallet. I really understood that the old version of the wallet is almost perfect, solid construction, perfect size etc. apart from the window issue. Unfortunately, the quality of this replacement is inferior. The external zipper and tongue are large and bulky and do not close fully. Most notably, there's no pocket for the tongue to prevent slouching, and the wallet has been streamlined for ease of use, like the older model. Also the outer compartment expands - it's too bulky. The strap hook has been moved to the edge of the wallet, again making it less streamlined for back pocket use. The gum is less reliable, flexible. The overall dimensions are more square, making it difficult to handle. So I completely ripped the ID window out of the old wallet and put this new model back.
