Love the finish of this stand and that it can hold my Semogue 1305 brush The brush handle was too wide for my previous holder. The base of the stand is small but heavy, so you don't have to worry about it tipping over. I deducted a star because the razor holder arms are wide enough that my Merkur 1904 razor (a three piece razor) doesn't lay flat. This is because the top plate has two "knobs" that fit into the bottom plate to hold the razor blade in place. If the handles were a little narrower it would allow the razor to sit straight and not tilt to one side or the other. Overall this is a great stand and looks really good holding all my gear.
