As for the winter thermal gear I can't complain as it kept me warm on a fairly chilly snowboarding day (around 40F). However, I would buy the top and bottom separately if I bought it again. I have a 5ft 10in 195lbs and bought a large one. The top fits great no complaints but the bottom is a little lower than I would like although it didn't bother me when riding I feel like the elasticity at the waist is losing and I need to throw it away. My suggestion would be to go up a size for the bottoms and anything you wear regularly rather than buying a set. Small issue, this set doesn't have the same waistband/elastic as the individual bottoms and looks a little cheaper (based on how other base layer items I have fit).
