My daughter loves this balaclava! She wore it skiing until she started wearing a helmet. It's thick enough to keep everything warm, but it didn't fit well under her helmet to the point where she was comfortable with it (although it might work for others). However, due to the many uses, she still wears it around her neck while skiing and wears it outside to school. It's 9 years old but I can see it will fit a 2 year old due to the side ties so it's a good product for a child to grow up with and great quality. She also loves that she looks like a ninja in it :) I totally recommend it.
