Review on 📚 Enhance Your Space with Greenco's Set of 3 Espresso Floating U Shelves by Jen Slocum

Reading the reviews of these shelves made me think it was risky to risk them, but I have to say in my experience I've had very few problems. The package came in excellent condition with no scratches, chips or other damage. The shelves are exactly what I expected. The only problem I have is anchoring it to the wall. Cheap quality that cannot be trusted if you plan to put something fragile on those shelves. I tried a wall anchor, drilled a hole in the wall, tapped the plastic anchor lightly with a hammer and it started to warp. I could make the hole bigger, but even then I'm not so sure about the stability of these anchors. I ended up using my own which holds 70lbs (I don't recommend putting something that heavy on these shelves but I always feel safer using a damn strong wall anchor than learning the hard way what I do should do to use a stronger type) . ). It took quite a long time to measure where to put the screws correctly so they lined up exactly with the holes in the shelves and I used a spirit level to make sure my friends didn't make fun of my bill. When all was said and done, I set the shelves straight without major mistakes. They are robust, serve their purpose and are worth the price. While I can't speak for others I can say I am very happy with my purchase and the quality of the shelves. The only reason I'm giving it four stars instead of five is that many people may not have their own wall anchors handy and I understand how frustrating the poor quality of the supplied anchors can be for those people. But if you're careful about how you use them, you'll probably be fine.
