I don't have dogs but have had some before. This material is definitely strong and will be quite difficult to chew. I bought this for my cats .One of them pisses on EVERY nice, soft, cozy bed I buy, so I went with "ruggedy". WATERPROOF. perfect" you know what. NONE of them peed on her, but both use her! Think. It's not the cutest bed in the world, but I'm definitely not complaining. I've since thrown out all of her other fluffy bedding because I'm sure the smell is still there no matter how much hot bleach I run them. I will probably buy another of these beds and call it good. If you need a cheap kennel blanket or just for your furry pal to hang up on, I would recommend this bed. It takes a while for the chewer to get to it so that's a bonus!
