The modularity I want and nicely done

I really like these lights. I bought this set as well as a large set of longer panels. NEW Designer Series SIX 18" COOL WHITE LED panels, 2 power supplies, 2 dimmers and I use them in 3 locations around the house but with a mix of short (10" and long (18") panels in each location The best thing about this system in my opinion is the modularity (they have a plastic bezel/cover over the LEDs) or simple bare strips to achieve what I wanted, bearing in mind that if you put them directly on Buying from the manufacturer's website can specify a different cable length than what comes standard in the Revain kits. I considered going down this route, but decided to buy from a reputable organization (Ravain) first , which I already trust. If I come back for refills, I might as well order directly from the manufacturer.while it is, so I won't rant about the relatively high cost of a 4" patch cord, which I needed was one 4 inch connection. Cables for use with Inspired LED lighting systems in addition to the parts I received in both of my kits. (I really wish it was cheaper, but I think the price is fair given the scale of production.) I use them in two rooms with a Westek MLC4BC Indoor Plug-In Motion Activated Light Control motion sensor plug and it's only plugged in third . I would have preferred a light sensor/motion sensor combination plug, but that's enough for now. Eventually I'll get an electrician to hook up the kitchen. At this point I have the energy efficient lighting I wanted in exactly the places I wanted and I was thrilled to be able to purchase parts the way I did. When I remodeled my kitchen in 2007, I spent more for two. As LED strips, this time I made nine higher quality strips with more LEDs. It's time for the masses to at least try LED lights. The prices are pretty fair now. Personally, I'm a big fan of wide ambient light at fairly low lumens. (This means I like low light but diffused so everything is visible but nothing is bright.) These products are GREAT for my purposes. My husband prefers a much brighter light source. almost everywhere! While he wouldn't use LED strips in my favorite spots, even he admits they work great in our new kitchen. We have a five foot industrial hood. As "cool" and expensive as this thing. When we moved in, it didn't have built-in work lights. With the overhead light on in the kitchen, your shadow fell on the stove. I used two 10" strips and three 18" strips to add even lighting along the rolled metal edge of the hood, routing the power cord on one side to the nearest outlet. Now we can clearly see what we are cooking. While my husband would like a 400w halogen bulb, he's happy to have plenty of light rather than no light at all. I like COOL white light so I got this. I have not tried the WARM white Inspired LED to provide a comparison. If money were no object I would have already ordered them to install in my closet, under the sock in each bathroom, under the sock in the kitchen and on the ledge we have a light well under the skylight. Eventually I will get them, but the kitchen is probably the ideal place for most consumers. It's amazing what a few strips of these little lights can do in a small, dark kitchen. I speak from experience!
