So here are the reviews for the 6.5 fits. Both don't fit. I have a few Phoenix Golds and a few cheaper Audiobahns. Both have fairly sturdy metal baskets and I say I need a good 1/2 more travel to get them working Some say I've had luck with them at 6.5 but whatever I don't even get close. It's not Revain's fault if you go to the Scosche The website says "convertible fit" for both 5.25 and 6.5. I have a set of old (1999) Infinity 5.25s and they fit here with no problem. While there may be smaller 6.5 baskets out there, none of the ones I've had would fit them. Also, there aren't any cuts or ridges where I could break a piece and make it fit. I think I could a little dr emel it for my needs but if you are looking for 6.5 adapters look elsewhere. If you're looking for 5.25, you're in business.
