Good decision. Good Price

$15 is a fair and reasonable price. I believe that's about half the price of the previous iteration. Result. does what it should. Other notes: The monitor sits higher than other monitors with an integrated VESA mount because the mount is not very high and the VESA mounting holes are closer to the bottom half of the monitor. But that's probably a mechanical compromise, as any higher mount would increase the torque arm and make tipping of the monitor arm due to gravity nearly impossible. However, I had to tighten the slant more than usual due to the design of the ASUS monitor support arm. The mount bends slightly during installation and use. Makes fine-tuning a bit tricky. But once installed it is stable. The pad where the back of the monitor mount contacts the mounting socket on the adapter is not fully aligned. The back of the monitor mount is slightly curved while the adapter slot is straight. This is the main reason for the slight instability when trying to fine tune the mount. The contact point between the monitor mount and the adapter is too small. These are subtleties. This is a perfect fix for ASUS' design flaw (i.e. lack of VESA mounting holes). Thank you HumanCentric!
