I needed water resistant boots I can wear without socks for dog beach in winter. I’m a 7, reviews said true to size but I have a narrow foot by US standard and these boots were very wide for me. The boot isn’t very high on the ankle so it’s be ok for light rain only. The ankles were wide (on me anyway) so in the rain, you’d have water inside your boot. The most unpleasant for me was the faux fur lining material: even in the house where i wore the boots for three minutes to try them on, I could tell my foot would perspire in this artificial material - I may be too accustomed to the natural shearling in Aussie bootsAll that being said, the boots are very light weight (unlike rubber boots that can weight a ton) , look to have strong construction and are attractive
