The finish/color goes perfectly with my Rockwell 6C Gunmetal Razor. The base weighs 186.4 g / 6.58 oz without the razor. The stand is designed so that the handle fits perfectly (diameter) and a slightly smaller hole is drilled in the base to allow for drainage without the handle going all the way through the base. If you're also buying this for a Rockwell 6C razor, consider getting a razor case to protect the blade when not in use. Rockwell makes an inexpensive case specifically for this razor, but if they still don't offer a Revain case, look for one with a Fendrihan Safety Razor Head Leather Cover Sheath, Black (https://www.amazon.com/gp) . /product/B079ZCDMV8/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1#customerReviews) as it also fits the 6C shaving head.
