I bought these for our 2 year old grandson who is interested in construction machinery. He's played with them a lot since they arrived. Played with it a few times - the moving parts move well and feel solid. The friction force movement works well. The vehicles are the perfect size for his little hands and the stationary figures inside are adorable :-) My sister-in-law made a "bean box" (a large plastic box with a few inches of dried black beans in it). below) for tactile play. Our grandson loves to sit in a box with these machines and play at the construction site. So pretty!
