They are not LC-51 compatible and the quality is terrible. Two of them exploded when I removed the foil to attach them and splashed ink on me. After cleaning them to install them, I found that they were missing the rubber fittings that are part of Brother's OEM cartridges. Without these tips, the computer can't pull ink out of them - I've tried all the tips for cleaning, leveling, etc., but the printer can't pull color ink out. Real cartridges are physically different. I will spend more on OEM ink - this experience was not good!
