Review on πŸ“€ Samsung DVD-E360 DVD Player: Sleek and Reliable in Black by Brannan Mclemore

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Nice little base that's quick to set up

I bought this Samsung DVD player to replace a Sony DVP-SR200P/B DVD player that only lasted about a year and a half without heavy use. I hope I have better luck with this one. It has worked great so far and was very easy to hook up to an old 19" TrueTech TV/monitor that was used for watching DVDs. The remote control is small but I think it fits well with this player. It measures just under 5 inches long and just over 1 1/2 inches wide. This is an ordinary remote control, but it is also an ordinary car. It does whatever it needs to do. The buttons respond very well to touch. First Impression - Movies load and start faster than Sony. To set up, simply connect the included audio/video cables to the clearly marked back of the device and to your TV or monitor. Then simply insert 2 AAA batteries (not included) into the remote control and you're good to go. The player's compact size (8.2 x 11.8 x 1.7 inches) makes it easy to fit into tight spaces. It has a USB slot on the front where it is easily accessible. It plays the video formats MPEG-2/4, WMV and JPEG as well as the audio formats MP3, Dolby Digital and DTS Surround. It only weighs about 2 1/2 pounds making it easy to carry or move around. All in all this is a good little player that does everything I need and is reasonably priced. Update January 22, 2014 This DVD player is great for everyday use. No problem.
