As an electrician, I lay cables all day. I was thrilled that someone like Dewalt finally made a cable stapler that removes insulated staples without binding. Dewalt did just that! Unfortunately, they failed at one point, forcing me to return them. The stapler works great and can snap off different sized cables without missing a beat. The only downside is that it can't tie individual cords tight enough to keep them tidy. When I lay cables, they are dead straight. I hammer in the strut, then pull the cable taut and hammer in the other strut. This is not possible with a Dewalt stapler. A cable can slide back and forth in the holder. It made my cables look dirty and sloppy. As a professional, I can't allow that. I need my cables to look good. I really wanted to love this tool, but couldn't justify the price for something that couldn't work well in its most needed application.
