X-small Bought for a 4-5 lb Chihuahua. The XS fit my slim 6-7 lb Chihuahua but was quite snug. Purchased small Chihuahuas weighing 7-9 pounds. Everything fits well. The 10 lb Chi/Jack mix can wear a small but snug fit. I also bought crew neck fleece sweatshirts. While I don't like bulky hoods on our small dogs, they hold the shape of the neck much better. The elastic crew neck collar always seems to stretch and end up around the dog's shoulders, then they squirm a leg or two and the sweatshirts end up on the beds or in the garden. These hoodies feel warm and comfortable when I slide my hand underneath to check their back or stomach to make sure they're warm enough. In fact, buy two more!
