I've had it for about a month so I waited to see how it would help before writing a review. It was definitely tough when I got it, which is to be expected. I applied a layer of mink oil even before using it. It gets softer and softer with use. As you can see from the photo I keep it packed with binders and planners. I also usually have a tablet and another 1 inch magazine. It's heavy with all this, but I can't carry it far. I use it in my home care so it was great to just put it in place with the top flap open and I can access all my stuff throughout the day. Even with leather seats, it doesn't fly in circles or land on my floor when the rear slams on the brakes hard. I carry some pens in one front pocket and a mouse and stickers in another. The only complaint I have is the uneven area on the top of the bag that curls and seems to flex when I close and clasp it. On one side only, you can see it in the first photo. This is not a critical issue, but a corn. I have to manually smooth it out and push out that sunken area. It might get better with time. May not be the best for those who pack a lot and need to carry around for a long period of time. It's going to be difficult. Overall, great space, workmanship and robust. Oh, and yes, it had a strong odor, but it went away after a day or two. I think this bag will only get better with time.
