I love the colors of this scarf and get lots of compliments. It also tolerates machine washing well. However, when I first got it, I found that it was very itchy around my neck. I googled "how to make a scarf less itchy" and found that the most common way to make wool softer is to use vinegar. Add two cups of white distilled vinegar to your washing machine rinse and ditch that pesky scarf. It worked like a charm; no more itching. This is now my favorite scarf!
