This folding fabric high chair is a great idea, but it didn't go perfectly with the two formal chairs I tried. We tried one at home, which is just a high-back fabric dining chair (no armrests), and one in a private box for a baseball game, which again was just a dining chair. It says it fits chairs up to 40 inches in diameter, but doesn't mention that the back of the chair also needs to be a certain height so you can use both of the two horizontal straps, otherwise you can only use one . so not so sure. We were able to get it to work by raising the rear of the seat slightly so it wasn't resting against the back of the chair, which wasn't as comfortable for our daughter, but it worked. This was a lot easier than lugging around a hard high chair, but there's still room for improvement. Also, there were no instructions in the kit on how to attach it to a chair, so it was trial and error. My daughter is 2 1/2 and about 30 pounds for reference.
