Very happy with this purchase. Just bought before the season so we haven't tried them yet but the hat and gloves are perfect for my 7 year old son. I was looking for a hat and mittens set that was fairly light so I could easily pack it up and carry it from my car to my house etc in the Maine winter. Gloves are ideal for short stays outdoors during the colder months. In fact, a hat can be warm enough to play outside in winter (thick, but not too thick, and we all know that kids tend to sweat when running, sledding, etc.). Very happy with this purchase. My son who is sensitive to textures and seams finds this set very comfortable.
