It's a pretty good printer except it's very difficult to hook up to my electronics. It was a beast to install on my computer. The installation disk did not work. This surprised me because I've never had any trouble setting up the printer, it usually does it automatically. I had to watch several YouTube videos before one method finally worked. Connecting to my electronics is a bit annoying. I even connect it to my Mac and have to restart my computer every time I want to print. I can print from my iPad with no problems, except when it goes to sleep I have to press it and wait a while for it to register that it's on. It doesn't turn on automatically. Depending on the day, this may take a few minutes. The print quality is excellent. So I'm willing to ignore the shortcomings. And because getting him back would be a huge problem. In terms of aesthetics, I was afraid it would be too big. It's bigger than any other printer I've had, but it still fits on my IKEA side table. So it's not that bad. Overall, my biggest complaint is the inconvenience of trying to print from my devices. Maybe I would recommend a friend to look at other options.
