Just put it on and it fits perfectly. I measured the height of the left footrest before and after to see how much it differs when standing at an angle. This noticeably increased the lean angle and the pin was about 3/8 inch off the ground when on the side post. I only gave it 4 stars because it's made in China and I try to buy American and encourage others to do the same.
