My purchase goal was to be able to switch off devices individually when not in use. So many devices are actually still powered on, resulting in small but continuous parasitic loads. It also shortens the lifespan of the device. These strips do their job. Individual switches are located close enough to the outlet that some power plugs or adapters may block or interfere with the switch. It would be helpful if the switch were ideally at a 90° angle to the socket on the front. There is a green LED that lights up when the common band is on. This is redundant as the common lane switch is also lit. This strip seems well made and the long power cord and angled plug are advantages for my applications.
