BEAUTIFUL BUT NOT BRIGHT
The original bulbs that came with the lamp that we put in our hallway are transparent Edison bulbs, similar to this one but transparent. They were so BRIGHT in the hallway it was distracting. I bought these gold light bulbs to dim the light in the hallway. MUCH BETTER and much nicer for the atmosphere. I took clear bulbs and hung them in the bathroom because the gold ones came with the fixtures and they would be too dark. Switching to transparent light bulbs in the bathtub works beautifully and brightens up the bathroom the way you want the bathtub to look. Both are dimmable lightbulbs and fixtures; However, I'm not a fan of dimmers.
