The picture quality is not the best, but it is definitely worth the price. I can't seem to read the video files from the SD card slot and haven't tried anything other than an HDMI connection to my Xbox. It is excellent for watching movies outdoors (night time). As a rule, we rarely get together and have a large family. This article was entertaining and did not disappoint. I would suggest using a Chromecast with this or your gaming console for the easiest way to get started. This is also my first projector and I am very happy with the results. I can only imagine how they improve from here. - Use a soundbar if you can, sound is crucial for an enjoyable "theater/drive-in" feel.
