My 2 week old newborn hates the tube. We love this alternative, it's easy to use and baby doesn't slip. The pillows keep him comfortable during the bath and I love that the water doesn't just stay there. The tube felt like it wasn't washed well as the rinse water was the same as the bathroom soap. At the same time, the water drains, and I keep the tap open so that he doesn't catch a cold, so that there is always clean water. It's just so convenient.
