I have been using the Microneedling Dermaroller for about 5 years. I decided dr. Pen for many reasons, firstly because the needles get dull, so no, the dermaroller doesn't last forever. You have to keep buying them. The cartridges are disposable but I use them twice. Although it turns out cheaper in the medium term. Second, it really works! The depth control is an amazing feature and somehow I found it penetrated my skin better. It feels like 0.5mm is different than 0.5mm on the dermaroller. I don't know if that makes sense. What happens is that the pen applies the pressure of the needles to your skin instead of you applying the pressure yourself with the dermaroller. I've been using it for over a month and absolutely love it!
