There is a very deep section in my closet that I use to store luggage and other rarely used items and I decided it was time to get a light to light it up instead of pulling out the flashlight on my phone or fumbling in the dark. I thought about hooking up one of these, but decided it wasn't worth the hassle or inflexibility, so this rechargeable LED flashlight seemed like a good compromise at a good price. Pros: * Surprisingly high quality: Admittedly I wasn't expecting much of the quality, it's a cabinet light after all. But it feels good and appears to be made out of real brushed aluminum rather than a similar plastic. The magnetic clips it hangs on are also well thought out, I just peeled off the sticky backing and stuck on, but they also have a hole so you can probably screw it in. It also makes it easy to take off for charging. * Battery life is good so far: I run it in motion detection mode so it only lasts about a minute at a time, but I haven't even charged it on battery. out of the box and 10 days later it's still working * Motion detection is sensitive: sometimes you have to wave like crazy with such motion detectors, but this one triggers immediately and stays on for quite a while (about the last motion detection) * It's bright: this one Closet doesn't get natural light so I'm not sure how it will perform in natural daylight but it illuminates the closet very well. Cons: * The motion sensor is sensitive: I know he was a pro too. , but if you're using it outdoors and motion is detected, it's likely to be triggered a lot. I originally oriented it to accommodate more movement outside of my closet, it accommodates my movement from over 10 feet away. * The color temperature is pretty cold: I prefer warmer white when it comes to light temperature (I'm not talking about operating temperature, the thing doesn't heat up at all) and it's pretty cool, as is usual with LEDs. It's okay, it might just look weird when placed somewhere with lots of warm white light.
