I originally bought this stand to use next to my TV to allow various entertainment devices (video game systems, audio receivers, etc.) to airflow around them to keep them from overheating. It was easy to assemble and great for electronics! I later decided on a different TV setup, so I turned this stand into a shoe rack in my small hall closet. This is the perfect size for a small closet. Longer coats can hang on the side and small jackets and items can easily hang over it. All in all a very good and solid stand for many purposes. It can be easily used in the bedroom closet, kitchen, store or garage, bathroom, etc. etc. If you need a small shelf for almost any purpose, give it a try!
