Review on LG 32GP850 B Ultragear: Adjustable 2560X1440, 165Hz, Height & Tilt Adjustment, Anti-Glare Coating by David Cormier

Better than I thought it would be

Okay, now I'm getting older and maybe easier to please than before, but I have no problem with this thing and use it every day when I'm at home. I can't complain about the quality and haven't seen anything so far due to Nvidia drivers or some games not wanting to render. Definitely an improvement, but I had an old Dell (Samsung) DVI monitor a long time ago. It might be easy to impress, but it looks great. I'm a Samsung guy when it comes to monitors and TVs, but sometimes the dice don't roll right. I set up this monitor with four 24" Asus monitors for my gaming rig because Samsung didn't have a good Vesa mount monitor with the specs I wanted at the time I attempted to purchase it. For this LG I wanted Nvidia G-Sync compatibility, if I'm investing in a new monitor and there are few options I referred myself here. I would buy it again without a doubt but still check out my favorites for the competition.

Pros
  • There are no problems with this monitor. Works great and no problems so far.
Cons
  • Poor contrast: If the black and white levels aren't set correctly, the image on the screen can look washed out or too dark.
