This remote does everything I want. I bought it for class so I can use the focus and zoom features to highlight material I want my students to know. The remote does a great job of this and is a great tool for helping students focus on the things they need to know. However, there is always a downside. My school switched us to a Chromebook because of our technology, and the features I bought this remote for don't work with Chrome OS. While the plug-and-play presentation control and mouse pointer features still work great in my absence (and work great with Slides, PowerPoint, Nearpod, and Peardeck for interested teachers), I could buy a cheap $20 remote these properties. I don't blame Logitech for this issue in any way. When connected to a PC or Mac, the remote works great (and has a full-featured USB-based program to bypass neighborhood nanny filters that don't allow installing drivers), but Chrome only offers basic ones Support. Considering Chrome OS is seeing more and more use, you'd assume Logitech would come out on top. But here we are. If Logitech implements Chrome OS compatibility I'll happily upgrade this to five stars. Until then, if you're using a Chrome OS device, save some money and buy a cheaper remote.
