Review on Osprey Arcane Roll Backpack Stargazer Backpacks by Mandy Nelson

Osprey's Flip Top Backpack feels great and comes with a lifetime replacement warranty, but it's built to last. The bottom edge of the backpack has some structure to protect the laptop compartment, which ends approximately 1" from the bottom of the bag for even more protection. When opened, the bag is very deep and even too deep. I find myself rolling the top down like a bag of chips when I need to reach out and find something in the main compartment. I'd say people are either roll top fans or they aren't. I wanted to try this bag because I like the Osprey quality, but I guess I'm not that big of a fan of roll top bags. The water bottle sleeve is very narrow and will not fit more than a 24 ounce bottle. A smaller 12 ounce bottle goes in and out just fine. The small pocket on the strap is too small for a cell phone and is better suited for a lip balm or keychain. Overall I'm very happy with the feel and quality, but would personally choose some other features.
