Not as good as machine wash

I really like these pieces and will wear them from time to time when I have no other choice. The problem is they don't last, barely absorb and my kid keeps pulling them out and wanting to chew on them. They have a weird, maybe plastic layer, so I'm nervous. Will stick with my washable/reusable ones. They're flimsy and if you're not new to breastfeeding they might work (for example if you don't leak much at all, they can only be used when you hardly leak, like at the end of the lactation season). ).
